Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the location was excellent, close to the main city center and within walking distance to key attractions, the rooms, despite being spacious for three of us, lacked natural light. The service was decent, and the dining experience, though good enough, felt a bit meager. Overall, it was a stay with highs and lows at this hotel.
The hotel looks exactly like in the photos, slightly bigger than expected, but a bit musty and outdated. The room had a strange electrical flushing system that didn't work well, and the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable in the summer. The location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk from the main city center and close to great public transport connections, but there was some sound insulation issue near the lift. The dining experience had minimal options and odd arrangements, although it was free for our kids. The hotel offered friendly service, and the facilities were decent but could use some updating.
My stay at the hotel was overall a mixed experience. While the location was excellent, close to tourist attractions and with good connections to public transport, the room I had, unfortunately, felt a bit prison-like as it looked out onto a fire escape. The dining options were adequate but on the expensive side. However, the service was good, and the facilities were quite enjoyable.
Staying at this hotel felt like coming home to my tiny single room next to the restaurant. The room was extremely clean, although a little worn, and the space was so small that I could hardly turn around inside the bathroom. The location was convenient, within walking distance of the main attractions in Brussels and the Central Bus Station.
The hotel is like a pigeon hole, really nice with big bathroom and comfortable beds, but lacking air conditioning which can be a problem in the summer. It is perfectly located between Gare Midi and La Grande Place, within walking distance to the main attractions of Brussels and the Central Bus Station. The location is great with many little bars on the same square where we enjoyed a few drinks, just a stone's throw from the Grand Place. The dining is good but on the expensive side. Leaving luggage on the last day and picking it up when leaving the city was convenient. The facilities are minimal but functional.
I found this hotel to be a mixed bag - on the one hand, it was very quiet, but on the other hand, the room was poorly lit and small with no tea/coffee making facility. The price, though, was reasonable and reflected the room quality. The family room across from us was definitely better.
